Even though I was, heh, under the influence of [And now he drops the friendly act and sounds TOTALLY PEEVED:] MUTANT SUPER DRUGS! I mean, come on, give a guy a break! I can't be held responsible for what [He jerks a thumb towards another cell.] Darth Vader Jr. over there made me do! And to turn me into some kind of freaky monster, that is just-- that is completely uncalled for!

[Why you lie, Eddie? He smiles and looks all friendly again.]

So, y'know... I would [Clasping his hands together in mock pleading.] really appreciate it if someone let me out of here. [Toothy grin.] Like. Now.

[He moves to turn off the communicator, then seems to remember something and brings it up to his face for an addendum.] Oh yeah, and, ahhhaha, I might've... lost. My, y'know... [He taps the communicator.] this. I could use a replacement. Do I put in an order orrrr... what?

[OOC: I AM ASSUMING THAT ONE OF THE PEOPLE IN LEVEL 0/THE SUPERVISING WARDEN... lent him their communicator. And yeah, he's going to pretend that the symbiote was REALLY just a special batch of nanomites. Obviously.

OH YEAH, and anybody who's been in Level 0 for a while will have probably caught him on the tail-end of his encounter with fear gas, so he would've been half-symbioted and raving about ~BATS~ and spiders. Once it wore off completely, he went back to normal Eddie and is now trying to... pathetically salvage his secret identity.]

Whoever wants to be involved usually. And a number of people who don't. Then again...it's justice. [He doesn't sound so convinced anymore] which is part of the fun.

When you hold people in the palm of your hand and torture then it's twice as fun as causing chaos.

[Let's call this post bat thread (http://expectremorse.livejournal.com/5708.html?thread=459340#t459340) for continuity. It's also what's making Hoffman a little more edgy.]

The rules are simple. Those who need to be punished-those who aren't worthy of the lives they are given are the ones who play. You get to feel like a hero and you still get to have...fun.

There's someone else who's playing too. Her name's Amanda Young but she's playing a different version.

[He laughs, it's an evil laugh] I play the upgraded version. It's a better...power trip.

[This is the first time he's actually said it. Actually admitted it. It's like an alcoholic's anonymous confession. He's been dancing around it with everyone. Arthas, Stephanie, that annoying guy on the communicator...]

[Eddie refrains from remarking on the fact that he's not displaying any trust at all here, so much as digging around for information. He just makes a "welp, that's the kinda guy I am" face and shrugs.]
